Principal's message

St/ Andrew's Balika Maha Vidyalaya, Nawalapitiya.

 St/ Andrew's Balika Maha Vidyalaya, Nawalapitiya is one of the first schools that was started in the Kandy district as a mixed school in year 1852 which currently operates as a school only for girls. The school, which was a 20 X 50 feet thatched hut is now an institute with many buildings, playgrounds and modern technological facilities. There are many past pupils of the school who excelled in prestigious organizations both in the country and abroad. At present the school is among the top ten schools in Gampola Education Zone regarding studies and extra curricular activities.

I sincerely hope that this website will be an effective platform to share information and novel ideas with all the parties associated with the school. Furthermore I hope that all will support in every possible way in developing the school to become one of the best schools in the country.

I would like to express my heart felt gratitude to all those who participated in these tasks and wish all the children will achieve success in every possible way.
